THE LEATHER

1936 is a waxed and oiled pull-up leather with a rich, dark finish. It has a medium-firm temper and develops a distinctive "burst" effect. Thanks to its substantial oil and wax content, this leather will quickly develop a rich, character-filled patina with wear.

SIZING

The Morris last runs about a half size large compared to standard Brannock sizing — we recommend sizing down a half size. While the Morris is offered in a D width, it has a generous fit that comfortably accommodates many E-width feet.

A NOTE ON LEATHER

Each boot is crafted from authentic leather, which may exhibit minor scratches, blemishes, and non-uniform coloring. These are inherent traits of the natural material and its finishing.

CARE

1936 is a waxed and oiled pull-up leather. The oils and waxes in the hide shift with wear, giving each pair a unique burnished finish over time.

• Cleaning: Brush off dirt with a horsehair brush. For heavier buildup, use a damp cloth. Air dry only — never use direct heat.
• Conditioning: Apply a leather conditioner or neutral wax when the leather looks dry. The natural oils in pull-up leathers mean conditioning is needed less often than with drier leathers.
• Scratches: Light marks will often blend back in with a horsehair brush or gentle finger pressure — this is normal pull-up behavior.
• Storage: Use shoe trees between wears to retain shape.
